Systems Administrator Job

SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Palo Alto, CA.

TOP SKILLS SHOULD YOU POSSESS:

- UNIX flavors
- Technical knowledge of Windows
- Knowledge of other clustering

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Monitoring of Servers, addressing any issues raised and ensuring that SLAs are met
- Pro-active maintenance of Servers and supporting infrastructure
- Manage end user accounts, permissions, access rights, and storage allocations in accordance with best-practices regarding privacy, security, and regulatory compliance

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Three to five (3-5) years experience - Technical knowledge of other Unix flavors (eg Solaris, HPUX, Linux)
- Three to five (3-5) years experience - Technical knowledge of Windows
- Three to five (3-5) years experience - Knowledge of other clustering technologies (eg Veritas, MC Service Guard etc) a plus

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Three to five (3-5) years experience - Experience with VMWare ESX highly desirable
- Three to five (3-5) years experience - Technical Knowledge of SAN
