A. ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
1. Professional/Experience
Primary: 942C Operation - Management and operations
The management and operation of the IT infrastructure (typically hardware, software and communications) and the resources required to plan for, develop, deliver and support properly engineered IT services and products to meet the needs of a business. Includes preparation for new or changed services, management of the change process and maintenance of regulatory, legal and professional standards, management of performance of systems and services in relation to their contribution to business performance and management of bought-in services including, for example, public network, virtual private network and outsourced services. [Ref: SFIA v3 2005:COPS]
Primary Skill Level: Apply: Carries out agreed operational procedures. Contributes to the implementation of maintenance and installation work. Identifies operational problems and contributes to their resolution. [Ref: SFIA v3 2005:COPS]
Must have experience in an information technology (IT) appointment.
Must have minimum 4 years recent practical experience as a Windows system administrator.
Must have solid experience creating, supporting Windows GPOs
Must have solid experience supporting & troubleshooting Server O/S and hardware.
Must have experience in the operation and administration of Database systems, ie MS-SQL
Must have practical experience in diagnosing networks & associated equipment deficiencies.
Must have experience with system administration monitoring tools, ie SCOM.
Must have overall knowledge of computer hardware and software.
Must have extensive experience with Web Servers administration (IIS and SharePoint)
Must have experience using Microsoft Windows Applications.
Must have knowledge of Windows Server 2003 and 2008.
Must have experience with WSUS, SCCM and ePO.
Achieved an industry standard certification for Windows Servers, such as MCSA, MCSE.
Candidates with a current security clearance are strongly encouraged to apply
