Systems Administrator - Bally's ACSC

Link Technologies is seeking experienced Systems Administrator for a contract assignment in St. Louis, MO or Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- This position will work with client end users on IT related projects in support of Casino Operations using the iSeries platform and Bally's ACSC (Advanced Casino System Corp) application software.
- This individual is expected to facilitate project and will actively support all system implementations, operations and upgrades.
- Create and/or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operation time, and form of desired results.

REQUIREMENTS

- Gaming Industry experience is preferred
- Previous experience in ACSC, CMS and Revenue Audit a must.
- iSeries-AS400 platform, TableView, and project management skills preferred.
- Coordinates third-party maintenance for AS400 and ACSC hardware, software, and related systems.
- Prepares and maintains documentation of system configurations and cabling layouts.

TRAINING AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

- Knowledge of ACSC, AIX, AS400, DB2, SQL or Windows
- Programming skills necessary
- Helpdesk experience is preferred Minimum 2 years of relevant experience required

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

- Solid troubleshooting background
- Superior written, verbal, and telephone skills
- Ability to multi-task is required
- Strong problem solving skills
- Strong analytical skills

Education:
Candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related discipline with a minimum of six (6) years' experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar IT position.
