SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR/MS EXCHANGE/LAN/WAN/NATO/MCAFEE/6 months/COTS

OVERVIEW:
*
As a member of the Technical Management team, the SME will be required to support engineering and production infrastructure including but not limited to hardware, Microsoft (MS) Windows based operating systems, networking, security, and storage.

SKILLS:

*Deep knowledge of hardware installation (cabling, racking, labelling, upgrading, maintaining, troubleshooting.
* Deep knowledge of MS Windows Server and associated core enterprise services (Windows Server, Workstation operating systems, Active Directory management, MS Exchange, MS Lync) - Installation, patching, administration, tuning, configuration, hardening/securing, troubleshooting;
* Deep knowledge of networking protocols, ports
* Deep knowledge of storage (SAN, NAS, Fibre Channel, NFS, ZFS - setup, install.
* A thorough understanding of backup techniques (configuration, administration, troubleshooting);
* Experience and thorough understanding of Disaster Recovery (HW/OS/Storage - planning, implementation, testing, documenting;
* Familiar with processes related to Change/Configuration management. Knowledge of Intel hardware (Servers, disk and tape storage);
*Knowledge of Windows Server 2012R2; DNS management; Group policy management;
*Knowledge of and experience with System Center Configuration Manager, System
Center Operation Manager, System Center Orchestrator, Microsoft Deployment toolset,
*Understanding of Remote Desktop Gateway Services; Remote App provisioning
*Knowledge of and experience with scripted/controlled deployment, Microsoft Deployment toolset;
*Deep knowledge of and experience with McAfee, EPO, Antivirus, DLP;
*Understanding of Remote Desktop Gateway Services; Remote App provisioning;
*Familiarity with Command and Control systems;
*Support LANs, WANs, network segment and intra net systems;
*Maintain system efficiency
*Ensure design of system allows all components to work properly together;
*Troubleshoot problem reported;
*Make recommendations for future upgrades;
*Maintain network and system security in order to protect data, software and hardware;
*Analyse and isolate issues;
*Configure and test computer hardware and network configurations, and determine hardware or software requirements to such changes;
*Monitor networks to ensure security and availability to specific users;
*Evaluate and modify system's performance;
*Maintain integrity of the network, server deployment, and security;
*Ensure network connectivity throughout LANIWAN infrastructure is on par with technical considerations;
* Maintain network facilities in individual machines, such as drivers and settings of personal computers as well as printers;
*Administer Servers, desktop computers, printers, Routers, Switches, phones, software deployment, security updates and patches.
