Systems Administrator

Our client is urgently recruiting for a System Administrator to reinforce teams working on projects for International Institutions in Luxembourg.

You will be integrated in a multi-cultural environment. You will be required to provide day to day database support to operations, provide DBA support to developers and monitor database performance.

- You must have a Computer Science diploma (or proven experience) and have 5 years of experience as DBA.
- You will be highly experienced in proactively monitoring systems for optimum performance and capacity constraints and responsible for security administration in all development and test environments.
- You will be responsible for database optimization and you will help the development team with special performance considerations.
- You commit to quality, have proven problem solving skills and have a thorough approach to work.
- You enjoy teamwork in an international environment - oral and written communication in English is required.
- You have a technical background in Oracle 11g and 12g, and Sybase (15.2/15.7), and have global knowledge of other leading database platforms (MySQL, SQL Server, DB2).
- Commercial experience in database-design, Datamodelling, understanding and implementation of schemas, and have the ability to interpret and write complex SQL queries.

Have a good understanding of UML analysis and design.
