Systems Administrator

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Responsible for development, implementation/installation and maintenance of systems to meet functional objectives.
- Researches, analyzes and implements patches/changes to fix deficiencies.
- Works with some direction.
- Responsibilities include installing, configuring, administering and supporting medium to large J2EE deployments including but not limited to Apache web server, WebSphere, JAS, JBoss, and tcServer/Tomcat spanning multiple versions.
- The largest environment is a complex and highly available/clustered Web Application infrastructure spanning several DMZ's in multiple data centers with 900+ JVMs with connectivity to Mainframe, Windows, Unix, and Linux platforms.

SKILLS:

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

- A great candidate would have strong Middleware technology experience such as WebSphere, TCServer, New Relic, JBoss and Apache and Scripting knowledge using bash, Pearl, python etc.
- This position requires a motivated, articulate web technology administrator with both operational Web Server and Application Server support experience and the ability to adjust to new emerging technologies.
- Must have Transaction middle ware experience.
