SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR

Our Client is an established organisation within Australia supporting approximately 4000 users from North Sydney in smaller offices across the Country.

The opportunity exists for an experienced systems administrator/engineer to support their infrastructure in an initial contract capacity for a 3 month period (possible extensions).

Your role will involve systems administration, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting issues, implementing solutions, documentation and BAU work. A considerable backlog of pending issues and requests has built up because of the current focus on project work as opposed to BAU

To be considered for this role role you must be an extremely experienced and enthusiastic level 2 to level 3 administrator who shows sufficient drive and initiative to work autonomously with little need for hand holding.

Wintel Server 2008 server implementation and Administration (must have)
 Microsoft Exchange 2003/2010 - Active Directory 2003/2008
 SQL Server 2008 operation maintenance, admin (must have) with DR, Performance and tuning (a bonus)
 VMWare 4.1 + experience (must have)
 NetApp & AWS preferred
 Excellent verbal and written skills
 MCSA/MCSE or other industry recognised qualifications
 MINIMUM 5+ YEARS EXPERIENCE WORKING IN IT INFRASTRUCTURE

This role is available for an immediate start, the initial contract period is 3 months with genuine extension opportunities (we have a number of resources within this Client site who have surpassed the 12 month period). The role is based in the North Sydney district.
