Senior Systems Administrator

Under limited supervision, serve as a Senior Systems Administrator performing all aspects of configuration, administration, and maintenance of MS Active Directory, clustered Exchange 2007/2010 environment, Windows 2003/2008 Servers, VMware ESX Servers, SharePoint, Citrix, Symantec NetBackup, and other applications, components, etc. as needed. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work in a Global Infrastructure, interfacing with users and other System Administrators around the globe in a high velocity, rapidly changing environment.

Performs software installations, maintenance and upgrades to operating systems, Active Directory, network systems & applications, etc. in accordance with established IT policies and procedures. Administers, configures and maintains, Group Policies, FSMO, DFS, DNS, Sites, WSUS, etc. to achieve optimal performance levels.

Primary Responsibilities:
Perform configuration, administration and maintenance of Microsoft Active Directory networks and systems including Servers, Switches, Firewalls, remote access systems, network management systems, BES, etc.
Perform all aspects of day to day operational management, configuration and administration of all current MS Servers within the company. (2003 R2, 2008, IIS, Citrix, SharePoint, etc)
Perform configuration, administration and maintenance of GPO, FSMO, DFS, DNS, WSUS, etc. for Enterprise AD
Provide upper echelon systems administration support to various departments and users with regards to LAN/MAN/WAN, Active Directory, Exchange, SharePoint, Citrix, etc.
Perform configuration, administration and overall management of clustered Exchange 2007 and 2010 environments
Perform configuration, administration and overall management of VMware ESXi, 3.5, 4.0 and 5 Environments
Perform regular backups using Symantec NetBackup & Backup Exec.
Install and upgrade hardware/software in multi-vendor hybrid Microsoft - UNIX environment.
Manage and maintain multi-data center environment comprised of 500+ physical and over 1,200 virtual Windows Servers
Manage complex projects and assist less experienced peers as needed.
Research, evaluate, and recommend new hardware and software for systems.
Configure, manage and maintain LeftHand Networks, StoneFly and NetApp storage arrays

General Qualifications:
Very Strong Windows networking to include Active Directory, WSUS, DNS, FSMO, GPOs, etc.
Very Strong network management skills and solid TCP/IP knowledge equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
MCSE certification or other MS certifications a plus
ITIL Certifications a plus
