Systems Accountant
Duration: 6 months
Rate: £280-£340 per day
Location: London

Working for an established organisation, the ideal candidate will be required to provide expertise during the critical stages of the planning, design, implementation and testing of a complex outsourced solution. You will be responsible for implementing a control structure to ensure the financial rigidity of the solution and will be the key representative for finance on the Project.

Responsibility will include;
Liaising with stakeholders, project teams, technical teams to ensure that the requirements & objectives are met. Ensure testing of business processes and the review of test scenarios and scripts are completed. In addition you will be involved in the procurement process from writing the requirements of a contract to evaluation. The ideal applicant will be a qualified CCAB accountant or gained equivalent experience. You will have a understanding of large volume transactional accounting systems, experience in transaction and accounting processing & the ability to analyse large volumes of data to provide accurate and complete accounting records. Excellent level of numeracy, accuracy and attention to detail & knowledge of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint are also required. Experience in financial and contractual matters within a public sector environment desirable.
