System Validation Engineer (System-on-Chip)

Yoh has a contract position for a SYSTEM VALIDATION ENGINEER - SOC to join our client in Phoenix, AZ.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- System Validation Engineer will perform validation execution in a state of-the-art lab, results analysis, bug detection and root cause analysis.
- System Validation Engineer will ensure design specifications are met.
- Test and debug on emulation platforms.
- Develop functional test plans, test-plan implementation and test- suites development for block level testing and media flows.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

- B.S. in EE, CS or related subject and six (6) plus) years of experience with design and/or validation.
- Four (4) plus years of Post-Silicon Validation experience.
- Two (2) plus years experience in silicon debug.
- Two (2) plus years experience in the following skills: SoC or CPU architecture, C/C++ Software programming.
- Board and system operation, validation and/or development, image/video processing and compression technologies/Video-Codecs (MPEG-2/4, H.264, VP6/7/8, DIVX, VC1), 2D and 3D graphics engines, Display-Processors, Video-interfaces and protocols and related multimedia system-architectures.
