System Validation Engineer - C, C++, SoC Camera Interface

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
To enhance test coverage for a SoC camera interface. This will be accomplished by the approved vendor developing a set of tests targeted at specific A0 stepping sub-features of the camera interface. These tests will be developed, debugged, and executed on the appropriate hardware. Phase 2 of the project will require a complementary set of tests to be developed, debugged, and executed on the appropriate hardware. Phase 3 of the project is defined as delivering test coverage enhancements and debugging issues as appropriate which will directly lead to the final qualification status (PRQ) for the product.

DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Developing and debugging SV test code to meet specific coverage goals. This involves comprehending technical specifications of the SoC camera interface; proposing test conditions and getting agreement from the appropriate technical reviewers; implementing and successfully deploying the specific test cases into the system validation test execution infrastructure. This process will require working closely with a team of lab technicians and other engineers, using test platforms, and debug equipment such as ITP, logic analyzers, etc.

NECESSARY SKILLS (MUST HAVE):
Strong SW programming skills in C/C++
Strong CPU architecture knowledge
Solid hands-on experience in a debug lab environment
Excellent communication skills and able to present status to senior management

ADDITIONAL SKILLS DESIRED (NICE TO HAVE):
Familiarity with SoC camera subsystems is highly desirable
