System Testing Analyst

Please make sure that your candidate has experience with SOAP UI AND XML/XQUERY. Manager can only consider candidates who have working knowledge with these skills.

Please note that this is a 9-month contract assignment with the possibility of extension. Candidates need to be able to work a flexible schedule meaning if the manager needs contractor to come in on a Saturday, candidate needs to be able to do so.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

40%
Create and execute test cases. During the testing process monitor the system for exceptions and other items requiring post-test attention.

Attend project meetings to provide feedback and input for design documents. Serve as liaison between customers and I/S development. Assist customers with questions regarding the testing process, defects, etc.

Prepare written reports and analyses, including recommendations.
Ability to work in fast-paced, high profile, complex testing environment.

IT experience Required 3 Years
Experience in developing test plans and test matrices Required 3 Years
Manual testing experience Required 3 Years
Expertise in testing web services based systems with minimal to no user interface Required
Working experience with XML, XQuery and SOAPUI Required
Hands on experience with HP Quality Center or comparable testing tool Required
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to work independently with minimal supervision, be a team player Required
Well organized and efficient with excellent judgment and decision-making skills Required
Business knowledge in Insurance space (Issuers, Plans, Enrollment, etc.) Desired
Knowledge of X12/EDI transactions Desired
Past experience testing complex Healthcare systems Desired
Working in the CMMI environment Desired
Flexibility in schedule and ability to work during different shifts Required
Bachelor Degree -OR- 4 years combined education & work experience -OR- Extra 4 years work experience Required
