System Tester (C11)

Finite Canberra has a Government client seeking SYSTEM TESTER.

This is a contract opportunity beginning ASAP for 12 MONTHS (Option for 12 month extension).

For this Role you must be an AUSTRALIAN CITIZEN with an ACTIVE HIGH LEVEL SECURITY CLEARANCE.

Essential Criteria:

- At least 5 years demonstrated ability in the testing of Microsoft based applications
- Extensive experience in leading a testing team, setting testing approaches and frameworks within broader ICT Strategies
- Extensive experience in working with and testing integrated solutions delivered by external vendors
- Experience working with Team Foundation Server and Visual Studio Test Edition
- Experience in creation of repeatable performance, security and UI tests
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience in developing and maintaining testing artefacts and documentation
- Relevant tertiary certifications.

Desirable:

- Proven record testing Lotus Notes
- High level of technical writing skills.
- Proven knowledge of version control and implementation management
- Experience in testing across wide area networks
- Experience in and understanding of the significance of Australian Government In -Confidence and Secret computing environments.
