Responsible for Windows Administration tasks. Works with vendors and end users to resolve server hardware/software issues. Monitors server performance and maintain server security. Familiarize users with network operation. This role will require Microsoft clustering experience.

KNOWLEDGE WITH THE FOLLOWING WILL BE BENEFICIAL:

- Windows 2003/2008/2012 (security philosophy; System administration utilities; topologies)
- At least two networking protocols (one must be TCP/IP)
- 3rd party utilities (eg virus, backup, Software distribution)
- Desktop operating Systems
- OEM Server Hardware Architecture
- Where to find and when to apply technical resources
- Includes the installation and configuration of the Operating System and Systems Software to an operating state in the environment.
- Ability to resolve all Intel server hardware and software problems
- Perform remedial repair and preventative maintenance for Servers
- VMWare ESX 4.0/4.1/5
- Active Directory Windows 2003/2008 Domain
- Windows OS Cluster management

- Microsoft Windows, 2 years
- CompTIA A+, 2 years
- CompTIA Server+, 2 years
- TCN Number, 2 years
- Server break-fix, 2 years
