System Software Engineer

ADGA is currently seeking the services of a System Software Engineer with the following skills and qualifications.

IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS OPENING, APPLICANTS MUST MEET THE FOLLOWING:

- Enhanced Level I Reliability
- Post-secondary education in a computer-related discipline (University Degree).
- Minimum of 10 years experience in all phases of software development (analysis, design, development, test, support) in a structured engineering environment.
- Minimum of 5 years experience leading software developers through all phases of the software development life cycle, from requirements analysis through to testing.
- Experience in project planning, team guidance
- Strong ability in capturing requirements and establishing product strategic guidance.
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral).
- Knowledge of requirement management, problem reporting and source control tools such as ReqPRO, ClearQuest and ClearCase.
- Development experience with Real Time applications..

OTHER DESIRED REQUIREMENTS:

- Experience in application development utilizing Java, J2EE, JSP, Hibernate, JMS, WebServices, JavaScript, and ANT
- Experience with Application interfacing with SQL Databases.
- Experience working with military personnel.
- Development experience with military land-based communications applications.
- Experience with sensor technologies and military standards.
