System Security Architect

This position will provide support to the Project Manager and Architectural team with regard to a broad range of security matters. This position has responsibility for undertaking development of an over arching security architecture for the project including participating in high level system designs, detailed designs, technical documentation and other related engineering activities across the program.

DUTIES:

- Work closely with the Internal Information Security division for the purpose of providing security advice for Program projects and delivered capabilities
- Provide subject matter expertise and advice to the Program on security related matters
- Develop, deliver and update of overarching security architecture for the Program
- Develop, deliver and maintain Threat and Risk Assessments (TRAs) for capabilities and projects
- Develop, deliver and maintain System Security Plans (SSPs) for capabilities and projects
- Verify security controls and mechanisms are implemented and delivered as designed

SKILLS:

- Experience in a Security Architecture role
- Experience identifying and applying security controls to large scale, complex projects
- Experience designing and implementing Information Security policies, practices, technologies and governance
- Experience designing and implementing ICT security policies, practices, technologies and governance
- Experience participating with architecting complex systems.
- Experience producing and maintaining Threat and Risk Assessments (TRAs) and System Security Plans (SSPs)
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Administrative skills, including time management
- Ability to effectively prioritise and allocate tasks
- Ability to successfully manage all working relationships.
