System Security Administrator (Arabic Speaking) Required For Immediate Start For Prestigious Client In Dubai.

A 12 month Extendable Contract for a 3 year Assignment is Available with an excellent package for the candidate that will be able to demonstrate the following:

Key Accountabilities:

- Responsible for maintaining, operating, troubleshooting and improving systems and its OS.
- Responsible for maintaining the security of the operating systems
- Responsible for the fine tuning and ensuring efficiency in system performance
- Improve on the current environment depending on the business and technical requirements
- Design and implement new and changed server/storage infrastructure to support the network services
- Recommend changes to server/storage architect standards for the network and review proposals for the server/storage provider
- Accountable for ensuring problem management process is consistently followed
- Conduct problem identification, recording classification and investigation activities
- Perform key role in availability management process in relation to server/storage infrastructure
- Perform key role in capacity management process in relation to server/storage infrastructure
- Perform key role in change management process in relation to server/storage infrastructure
- Perform key role in configuration and release management process to server/storage infrastructure
- Perform key role in IT service continuity management process in relation to server/storage infrastructure
- Perform key role in incident management process providing second level capability to resolve incidents relating to server/storage infrastructure
- Document all changes in the environment
- Identify improvement in the environment and propose an implementation path with minimal impact
- Plan for sizing the environment according to the business needs
- Maintain SLA's with depending technologies
- Report on health, performance, SLA, incidents and problems implementations
- Scan regularly for any anomalies that might disturb the provide service and SLA's
- Provide guidance to monitoring staff on threshold levels and alarm categories
- Accountable for implementation of agreed architectural standards within data centre
- Ensure system and database designs are fit for purpose
- Fine tuning of systems and databases to maximise efficiency and performance
- Responsible for ensuring successful integration of new or changed application services within existing network environment
- Provide a technical interface with suppliers to ensure full understanding of application features and dependencies within the data centre
- Keep up to date with industry best practices

Qualifications and Skills

- MCSC 2003 certified with security leaning and/or Unix certified
- In depth knowledge of at least 2 operating systems ( Unix-Windows)
- Good security background with hands on knowledge of security equipments/software preferred
- Working knowledge of database administration
- In depth skills in server farm and storage technology and design
- Good communications ability
- Strong troubleshooting capabilities
- GIAC Certification an added advantage
- Bi Lingual English and Arabic
- 5 to 7 years experience in the field of technology
- Bachelors Degree in computer sciences or any other related fields
