System Manager- 5 Months Central London

Certes have been instructed to recruit a System Manager to join our public sector client based in Central London on an initial 5 month contract. The role will be paying the market rate.

The System Manager will be responsible for the ICT, telephony, networks, security and document management function for the organisation.

The System Manager should come to the role with:
*Experience of secure networking (up to and including Impact Level 2- PROTECT).
*Experience of Blackberry Enterprise Solution v5.0.2.
*Experience of IT Risk management.
*Experience of managing ICT service contracts and ensuring business needs are met.
*Experience of acting as a System Security Officer with experience of implementing RMADs with all system users.

Desirable:
*Microsoft Exchange
*Telephony
*Microsoft Environment desktop/laptop support (Windows 7).

The System Manager will be required to:
*Ensure the secure operation of the System by ensuring that the security controls and measures detailed in the Risk Management & Accreditation Document Set (RMADS) are properly implemented by all users.
*Manage the ICT managed service contract with the service provider ensuring that the service contract meets the business needs of the organisation and that the service provider meets the standards agreed in the SLA.
*Undertake annually, and update as and when necessary in the interim period, a risk assessment of the system in accordance with HMG mandated standards.
*Assume responsibility for accreditation of the System and the maintenance and review of the RMADs defining the security standards and procedures that apply.
*Maintain and update a suite of IT policies and procedures which ensure protection, confidentiality, integrity and availability of the System and its information assets.
