System Integrator - Webmethods

Type of Assignment: Contract, full time
Length of Assignment: 13 Months to start with a possibility of extension for another 12 months
Job Description:
1.Develop integration components, including architecture artefacts, SOA Service designs and models, XML schemas, WSDL, and implementation such components.
2.Develop PL/SQL stored procedures as required to complete integration, as required.
3.Work collaboratively with the internal Teams and the Vendors.
4.Work actively on alignment with the Enterprise Architecture framework, architecture and technology standards through consultation and review with the Strategy & Architecture group.
5.Lead day to day development and testing of integration components.
6.Provide written status reports to the Project Manager.
7.Participate in Design meetings with Election's development team and as required with internal team and Vendor resources.
8.Implement complex requirements into technically simple services.
9.Work with other Team members to create a complete an integrated Development Solution.
10.Work with BSA and the User to resolve any requirement issues.
11.Perform testing of developed components and aid in the Acceptance Test Process.
12.Work with BSA, Developers and the User to correct System Bugs.
13.Undertake other duties as may be assigned by the Project Manager.
Mandatory Qualifications:
1.University degree in computer science or related discipline, and considerable years of progressively more responsible experience working on large-scale information technology projects or the equivalent combination of education and/or experience
2.Demonstrated experience in and knowledge of current and emerging technologies and protocols including Java (web and Client Server), Service Oriented Architecture, Java J2EE, XML, XSLT, XML-schema, WSDL, WS-* standards, SOAP, BPEL
3.Demonstrated experience with large integration projects, utilizing webMethods Integration Server and webMethods Broker
4.Demonstrated experience developing enterprise-grade integrations using common message specifications
5.Demonstrated experience developing SOA service designs
6.Experience working in a large enterprise environment with integrated enterprise solutions such as workflow management, business process management, business rules management, document management, content management, customer relations management, enterprise application integration, IVR and web-portal solutions
7.Extensive experience in developing architecture artefacts for large government organizations
8.Extensive knowledge of common adaptors used within the webMethods environment
9.Good interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written), presentation skills, analytical and problem-solving abilities
Technical Capabilities:
1.2+ years experience working in a senior/lead role in an integration team
2.7+ working with webMethods Integration Server and Broker
3.10+ years experience as an integration designer and developer in a large enterprise environment
4.3+ years experience with Oracle RDBMS, PL/SQL programming
5.2+ years of solution design for Java/J2EE, preferably for IBM WebSphere
6.3+ years experience developing solutions using Service Oriented Architecture
7.2+ years experience developing XML schemas and WSDL based Web-Services
