System Integration Test Engineer / Lead (w/m)

For our client, a global IT consultancy in the automotive area we are looking for a System Integration Test Engineer / Lead on a freelance basis (f/m)

Project duration: 6 months (++)
Location: Munich

Tasks:

-perform System level integration testing Skills

Skills:

-Understanding of Vehicle ECU tropology and its interaction with other ECU at system level
-At least 3 years of Infotainment System knowledge in terms of features toward different Domain , different modules and its architectural level understanding
-At least 2 years of hands-on experience in system level integration testing ( on bench and in vehicle level )for head unit w.r.t Infotainment Domain (BT, Phone, connectivity, Entertainment, Tuner(FM/AM),SDAR, DAB, 3rd party apps , USB, Telematics and HMI)
-Experience of handling At least 2 Infotainment - OEM / Tier 1 projects with relevant experience of developing system level integration test cases and execution for the same
-Prior experience with automotive tools / process is Must
-Hands on experience in supporting / independently handling reported issues / defect for specific module or at system level
-Work closely with module owners to ensure system level test reports are generated in a timely manner and to identify which modules would have the issues
-Debugging and trouble shooting at System level issues to pin point / indicate the ECU / Sub system component causing the issue behavior.
-Knowledge in analyzing the functional documents & preparing the Test Scenarios, Test Conditions & Test Scripts as and when required.
-Good analytics and problem debugging skills
-Experience in understanding of vehicle bus communication protocols CAN bus, ETH - AVB)

Additional Skills:

-Requirement management
-Ability to speak and understand German language is added advantage.
-Knowledge on Version control tools(VTS , SVN, ClearCase) and defect tracking tools(Bugzilla, ClearQuest)

- Written and spoken English is mandatory, all documentation will be in English
