System Integration System Engineer 3 Job

SYSTEM INTEGRATION SYSTEM ENGINEER III needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in MELBOURNE, FL.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Six (6) or more years of experience and Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering with network, aviation and/or communications focus preferred.
- Programming Language: C/C++ programming experience, Linux Scripting.
- OS: Linux - Centos, Ubuntu and TI Embedded Linux (All three variants are in use)
- General network configuration stills - how to assign IP addresses, IP routing, subnet masks
- SVN experience (on linux) - to check in/out configuration files, branching and merging operations

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Applicant will receive deliveries from our sub-contractors then following their instructions to install/setup the code in our lab (onto Embedded devices, various Linux platforms).
- All the components are under development and instructions and processes can change radically between deliveries.
- Applicant will need to be flexible and have the ability to find disconnects in the instructions.
- The configuration is complicated as all of the devices are networked to each other and to the lab network. Therefore the applicant has to be able to trouble shoot network issues.
- Post integration activities will involve developing automated regression test programs.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- TI Code Composer Studio - Ability to compile, link, load and debug via the IDE
- Eclipse Luna (CDT) - Ability to compile, link, load and debug
- Expertise in system integration and validation
- Very strong working knowledge of LTE wireless protocols- MAC, RLC, PDCP and RRC
- Strong working knowledge of 3GPP LTE system performance & Key Performance Indicator (KPI) measurements
- Working knowledge of LTE RF systems
- Experience with LTE Default Bearer IP Management for QoS, End-to-End QoS
