System Integration Engineer

Great 3 month rolling contract position open for a System Integration Engineer with knowledge of Solaris 10/11 Installation, Solaris 10/11 Administration and Knowledge of basic networking concepts (DNS, SMTP, NTP, VLAN, FW,VPN
- Solaris 10/11 Installation
- Solaris 10/11 Administration
-ZFS
-OVM for SPARC and T-series Servers
-SPARC and x86 Servers
-Shell Scripting - performance monitoring and troubleshooting skills.
-Good awareness of Database administration skills ( Oracle and Sybase )
-SAN Knowledge, FC Switches and Zoning, Multipath and Volume Mgrs (VxVM, etc)
-Knowledge of basic networking concepts (DNS, SMTP, NTP, VLAN, FW,VPN & SSL)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Perform Solaris 10/11 installation, patching and upgrade
- Perform Zpools and ZFS filesystems configuration
-Perform Zpools administration
-Perform OVM for SPARC installation
- OVM for SPARC administration (LDOMs creation, live migration, mgmt)
- Manage tickets with MOS
-Apply technical skills to support the migration of Solaris technology stack during project delivery.
