System Expert

For our client, a well-known telecommunications provider, we are looking for a System Expert (contract)

Location:
Zurich

Start:
ASAP

Duration:
3 months +

Tasks:

*installing and configuring computer hardware operation systems and applications
*monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks
*handling programming tasks
*troubleshooting system and network problems and diagnosing and solving hardware/software faults
*providing support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports
*setting up new users` accounts and profiles, providing access
*testing and evaluating new technology

Requirements:

*several years' experience in Linux environment
*good Windows 7 know how
*strong Java/C++/PHP/Perl development experience
*MySQL/Oracle developer experience
*Oracle BI experience
*ability to work shifts or be on call
*willingness to travel at short notice (in Switzerland)
*fluent English is a must; German and French would be a benefit
