System Expert

For our client, a well-known telecommunications provider, we are looking for a System Expert (contract)

Location: Zurich
Start: ASAP
Duration: 6 months +

Tasks:

*Installing and configuring computer hardware operation systems and applications
*Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks
*Handling programming tasks
*Troubleshooting system and network problems and diagnosing and solving hardware/software faults
*Providing support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports
*Setting up new users` accounts and profiles, providing access
*Testing and evaluating new technology

Requirements:

*Several years' experience in Linux environment
*Good Windows 7 know how
*Strong Java/C++/PHP development experience
*Ability to work shifts or be on call
*Willingness to travel at short notice (in Switzerland)
*Fluent English is a must; German and French would be a benefit
