System Engineering Lead

SYSTEM ENGINEERING LEAD for our client located in the region Bern for a projects until the end of 2016.

YOUR TASKS:

- Managing the Group Infrastructure team (7 employees)
- Ensuring reliable and cost effective operations of group IT infrastructure (2 datacenters with business critical systems) and managing group wide services such as e-mail, web conferencing, remote access and the group network
- Managing the regional IT infrastructure and provide desktop & user support for Switzerland, Germany and Austria
- Supporting business projects with consultation, design, provisioning and setting up required infrastructure technology solutions
- Managing portfolio of infrastructure projects and lead key infrastructure projects
- Ensuring IT infrastructure security (policies, guidance and enforcement)
- IT Infrastructure budgeting and cost controlling

YOUR SKILLS:

- IT Infrastructure professional education
- 5+ years work experience in a relevant field
- Relevant professional certifications (MCSE, CCNA, etc)
- Management level AND hands-on experience with relevant technologies: Server operations, virtualization, SAN, networking and end user computing - focusing on Microsoft technologies
- Experience in dynamic, demanding and complex international environments with business critical systems
- Languages: English on native/fluent level both written and spoken
