System Engineer with a Strong FX Background (m/f)

-Set-up and configuration of systems (Linux Redhat Servers, Windows Clients, Grid Infrastructure)
-Connectivity to Oracle databases in close collaboration with a Database Support Team
-Set up test environments and connect them to other environments front to back
-Provide solutions for disaster recovery and perform regular tests
-Set up scripts to run scheduled tasks (end of day)
-Set up and maintain trade interfaces (Traiana etc.)
-Profound experience in financial Foreign Exchange industry and FX platforms (Fenics, Frontarena, Murex)
-Understanding of FX cash and FX option trading and its lifecycles
-Knowledge in Precious Metals and Base Metals trading and lifecycles preferred
-Experience in Front to Back FX banking processes with an emphasis on FX trading and middle office
-Very good German and English skills, spoken and written
-Working knowledge of the concepts of layers, IP and routing, TCP and connections, NAT, firewalls
-Working knowledge of Unix Shells and Perl
-Experience with troubleshooting higher level issues on lower layers by means of e.g. strace, truss, snoop, tcpdump etc.
