System Engineer/Solution Architect - BSS Job

SR SYTEMS ENGINEER/SOLUTION ARCHITECT needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Bellevue, WA.

TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Telecom Systems Engineering/Architecture
- BSS (Billing, Online Charging, Mediation or Provisioning)
- Client facing senior roles

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Write and review Statement of Compliance documents, requirement specification and customer solution descriptions
- Present solutions to customer
- Create technical proposals (RFIs and RFPs
- Ensure quality and consistency of scope, quotation estimates and different contributions prepared by different people and departments (Bill of Quantities, BoQs)
- Prior demonstrable experience working in Customer facing role and diverse cross-functional distributed team
- Perform intelligence acquisition and analysis on market trends, competitors, etc
- Working in Agile/Scrum tools, for example: Rally, Jira, Dockers, Chefs, puppets, ScrumMaster for telecom Billing/Business Support Systems Project.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Bachelor/Masters in Computer science, Telecommunications, or other related degrees Oracle and Database Management
- Five years similar experience
- Excellent competence within BSS and experience of Convergent Charging and Billing
- BSS (Billing, Online Charging, Mediation or Provisioning) is required
- managing scope with third party suppliers/partners within projects
- Proven ability to adapt, improve and implement handling of scope, risks, changes including customer adaptations, solution management/support
- Excellent customer management experience with substantial experience in presentations, negotiations, agreements, disagreements, and managing customer expectations and relations
- Ability to convey complex ideas and influence others
- Team-working spirit including ability to interact/communicate efficiently with both customers and internal parties
- Advanced problem solving and coordination skills
- Ability to work under very high pressure with strict deadlines without missing the details

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Convergent Charging/Billing project experience
- J2EE technologies, NgOSS, SOA, Web Services
- Data migration, system swap experiences
- Oracle/HP/EMC hardware knowledge
