For a project at our client's site, an international bank based in Zurich, we are looking for experienced

SYSTEM ENGINEER - MS OFFICE 2010 (4727)

The ideal candidate will work as a member of the global performance engineering team. The role of the team is to find root causes for major performance complaints from business users. These require in-depth engineering investigations rather than incident management tasks.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

- 8+ YEARS OF WORKING EXPERIENCE AS SYSTEM ENGINEER WITHIN WINDOWS ENVIRONMENTS INCLUDING MS OFFICE 2010
- STRONG TROUBLESHOOTING SKILLS ARE IMPORTANT
- PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE WORKING IN COMPLEX INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECTS
- SOUND KNOWLEDGE OF MS ACTIVE DIRECTORY, SMARTCARD AUTHENTICATION, DATA ENCRYPTION, USER PROFILE HANDLING, ANTI-MALWARE AND THREAT MGMT. SOFTWARE
- Thin clients (WES7) connected through Citrix ICA to VDIs (VMWare) are part of the environment as well as a traditional msi based workplace platform
- Aware of security-related risk in large infrastructure environments esp. in the financial industry
- FLUENT IN ENGLISH (WRITTEN/SPOKEN)

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Investigate issues in our global end user workplace environment
- Analyze errors in systems and define corrective measures (you've got a good eye)
- Elaborate improvement for production stability and performance; help to achieve minimal response time targets for workplace login and launch times for productivity applications.
- Collaborate in a global team and cooperate with cross-functional teams to work towards performance goals
