CURRENTLY WE ARE LOOKING FOR A VERY TECHNICAL HANDS-ON SYSTEM ENGINEER WITH STRONG QUEST MIGRATION MANAGER KNOW HOW (ADMINISTRATION AND CONFIGURATION AT EXPERT LEVEL) TO JOIN OUR CLIENT'S TEAM IN BASEL, SWITZERLAND.
OVERVIEW
The project will be to migrate the data of a recently bought company into the existing IT Eco system (source to target).
Various global data centers are involved. Locations range from Spain, Mexico, Sri Lanka, England and possibly others.
The main task has to be finished by end of 2016. However there are more projects in the pipeline and an extension might run up till end of 2017.
JOB DUTIES
Migrate information/documents from newly bought company into the clients existing system mainly by using Quest.
Setup the parameters for the migration correctly to ensure a smooth migration from source to target.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Quest software (QMM)
- Active Directory (AD) -> 2003 or newer
- MS Exchange -> version 2003 and/up to 2010
- Distributed File System (DFS/FS)
- Citrix know how strong advantage
- Fluent English mandatory (additional languages beneficial but not a must)
