System Engineer/Messaging

On behalf of our client, one of the largest financial organizations in Switzerland, we are looking for an experienced System engineer with deep Enterprise Messaging Skills with IBM WebSphere MQ and/or Tibco EMS to join their team in Zurich on a long term contract basis.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Designing, evaluating, planning, developing, integrating, testing, deploying and supporting technical Infrastructure solutions.
- Providing a stable and secure environment that ensures production stability, supportability and performance.
- Focusing on product/process/service enhancement and optimization and know how to increase the return on their various products and processes.
- Analyzing errors and the definition and introduction of corrective measures.

REQUIREMENTS:

- Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience
- Experience with WebSphere MQ, Tibco EMS
- Good knowledge of Shell-Scripting and tools (Shell, Ant, JIRA, Confluence)
- Good knowledge of Unix (RHEL, Solaris x86/SPARC)
- Good knowledge in SSL, certificate handling and PKI
- Good interpersonal skills the role involves coordinating activities with resources and communicating clearly to SME's and Application developers.
- Working knowledge on building RPMs for RHEL
- Working knowledge of IT infrastructure including virtualisations and Storage concepts.
