System Engineer - Linux/Perl (4495)

For a project at our clients site, an international bank based in Zurich, we are looking for an experienced

SYSTEM ENGINEER - LINUX/PERL (4495)

Your role is to provide and operate various central security and IT compliance services for the distributed UNIX environment in Switzerland and Midrange environment globally.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

- DEEP KNOWLEDGE OF LINUX OPERATING SYSTEM AND LINUX ADMINISTRATION
- SOLID EXPERIENCE WITH SCRIPTING IN PERL
- Previous experience working in complex infrastructure projects/environments
- IT-compliance experience would be beneficial
- Aware of security-related risk and operational stability questions in large infrastructure environments
- Motivated, self-directed and driven
- Committed to provide technical documentation (in English) along your Scripting work

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Automate server administration and compliance/security tasks in a huge and complex server environment
- Guarantee a secure infrastructure environment as well as production stability and performance
- Collaborate with various cross-functional teams to support them for their daily operation tasks and regular compliance duties
