System Engineer Job

SYSTEM ENGINEER needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in HERNDON, VA.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Three (3) month contract with the potential of full time
- Support approximately 400 end users through operations or technical enhancements in order to ensure business continuity.
- Maintain and administer IT infrastructure for National Security Services, including PCs/laptops, Servers, phone, and network services.
- Advise users on technical issues and enhancements to the internal client base.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Internal customer support and end user services: Setup and maintain all end user equipment, perform troubleshooting, and implement infrastructure changes.
- Perform laptop imaging/testing/deployment/troubleshooting.
- Provide support for external products and Citrix connections in addition to internal images. Provide end user support for employees in the Rockville MD, Herndon VA, and Newtown Square offices, as well as users located in home offices and at customer sites.
- Deliver hardware to users in remote offices, remote locations, customer sites as needed
- IT management: Plan, execute and support IT infrastructure for all NS2 company locations: Rockville MD, Newtown Square PA, and Herndon VA.
- Network and telecommunications: Support all network and communication systems.
- Provide system support to classified network as needed.
- External customer support: Install, configure, test, troubleshoot, and provide training for customer VPN connections to all users.
- Maintenance: Maintain Server Side and end user IT equipment.
- Business systems management: Configure and install new software releases and system upgrades, and resolve software related problems.
- Update inventory system with latest updates. Consistently create procedural documentation for end users.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Five (5) years Client Server, desktop, and customer support experience.
- Windows Server 2003, 2008, 2012
- Exchange 2010
- RSA Authentication Manager
- Checkpoint R75 or above
- Windows 7, Windows 8
- McAfee EPO
- Microsoft Lync
- Microsoft Office/Outlook 2010
- Desktop Support
- Client Server Installations/Troubleshooting
