System Engineer - Infrastructure wanted for our Basel based client in the pharmaceutical sector.
YOUR EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
- 5+ years' background in the pharmaceutical industry with a regulated Computer System environment and laboratory or manufacturing experience as 2nd level support
- 2+ years' CSV experience along with expertise in Windows 2003/2008/2012; VMware; Citrix; Windows 7 and Windows 10
- Technical and business processes experience in the manufacturing or laboratory environment
- Proficiency of system installation and maintenance of operating systems, hardware and peripheral devices eg bar code scanner or printer
- Profound background in a project environment and in Informatics Service Support and Service Delivery
- Languages: fluent English and German both written and spoken
YOUR TASKS:
- Providing infrastructure and application management as well as supporting operational stability and effectiveness of several Applications and Infrastructure platform
- Ensuring that operational work, on-call services and project related activities are performed according to defined KPIs
- Collaborating with end users to identify needs and opportunities for improved data management and delivery
- Contributing to the core business and informatics processes and solutions by applying specific knowledge of systems and tools
- Escalating or resolving problems for resolution when appropriate as well as developing and maintaining process and technical knowledge
