System Engineer - Enterprise Unified Communications (5001)

For a long-term project at our clients site, an international bank based in Zurich, we are looking for an experienced

SYSTEM ENGINEER - ENTERPRISE UNIFIED COMMUNICATIONS (5001)

The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementation design built upon standard Audio Visual Room solutions as required by the bank, including the service support model for new products.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

- EXPERT LEVEL KNOWLEDGE OF AV PRODUCTS SUCH AS CRESTRON, POLYCOM, IPTV, APPSPACE, REALPLAYER
- EXCELLENT KNOWLEDGE OF ENTERPRISE UNIFIED COMMUNICATIONS COLLABORATION SOLUTIONS (EG CISCO, SKYPE FOR BUSINESS, POLYCOM)
- VERY EXPERIENCED WORKING IN WINDOWS SERVER AND LINUX ENVIRONMENTS
- Good knowledge of data networking (routing, switching)
- Broad understanding of IT Operations Service Delivery, preferably in the AV space
- Very strong technical, analytical, design and documentation skills
- FLUENT IN ENGLISH AND GERMAN

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Ensuring that Audio/Visual service are delivered according to the project plan
- Performing implementation design and service support model
- Supporting factory/integral testing and documentation of test plan/results
- Providing escalation support where required
- Working with vendors and maintaining knowledge of industry trends
- Manage the relationship with the suppliers
- Responsible for understanding, recording, monitoring and managing risk related to the delivery of the service
