Je functie: The scope of the mission:

? Main activities and responsibilities

Service change and incident requests
o Analyse, evaluate and implement change-requests
o Analyse, evaluate and solve incidents and problems
o Ensure the service level agreements to be respected
Maintain system quality at level
o Perform continuous improvement based on incidents, problems, risks, etc …
o Perform capacity management on business-, service- and component-level
o Contribute to the OS patching and hardening processes
Improving the technical platform
o Identify opportunities and make proposals to improve the system
o Participating in to the implementation of technical projects to improve, standardize and modernize the environment
Improving process and service
o Contributing to the development and follow up of SLA's
o Participate to the identification, implementation and update of KPI's for the service
Identify opportunities and implement measures to improve the service
Je profiel: ? Experience

Have at least 5 years of experience as a system engineer:
o Deep knowledge of Windows Server and Windows Active Directory in an enterprise environment is a must
o Driving forward the evolution of our server platform, gradually evolving to the private cloud concept

? Technical skills

Mandatory knowledge and experience in following areas:
o Windows Server 2008 & 2003
o Active Directory 2008 & 2003
o TCP/IP & LAN NIC usage & connectivity
o Scripting (Batch, VBS, PowerShell)

Knowledge in one or more of the following areas is an asset:
o Windows Server Backup, TSM
o Windows Server 2012
o Microsoft HPC
o Windows Clustering techniques
o VMWare vSphere, vCenter, VCB, SRM, …
o Citrix XenApp, Citrix XenDesktop
o IBM and/or HP Hardware
o Software Distribution concepts - BMC BladeLogic Server Automation
o Frameworks MS SCCM
o Windows patch management (WSUS)
o Windows Terminal Services

o SAN & NAS concepts
o SAN HBA usage & connectivity
o Storage virtualisation
o Knowledge of ITIL
