On behalf of our client, a leading private bank in Zurich, Swisslinx are looking for an experienced System Engineer to assist the FX support team on a contract basis.
Your responsibilities in this role would include working with the server hardware and operating systems as well as the infrastructure, networking and databases. troubleshooting and software integration will also form a part of your job. You will be working within the Foreign Exchange team dealing with FX trading and pricing.
In order to be considered for this dynamic role you are required to have:
- Over 10 years work experience
- Over 5 years' experience within the financial industry.
- Knowledge of Oracle and blade Servers and enclosures
- Basics of networking and programming such as Unix Shell and Perl Scripting
- Experience with FX platforms such as Murex, Fenics, Frontarena
- Understanding of FX pricing
- Very good English and conversational German skills
As well as the relevant technical skills you must also be a team player with good communication skills. If you are a process oriented person with a structured and precise way of working then this is the right environment for you.
This position would be starting at the beginning of February and run till the end of the year.
