This position will carry out tasks associated with the Systems Management Development team. The team is responsible for the management and monitoring of data center infrastructure, including centralized logging and server monitoring. Projects include enhancements to existing products, maintenance of existing products, integration efforts focusing on clients initiatives and integration with 3rd party applications or services.

Primary Job Duties
Manage and support Systems Management tools, including logging, monitoring, event processing software.
Design, develop, and implement scripts to aid in the teams management and operational processes.
Participate in project planning sessions with team members to analyze development requirements and provide design options.
Makes suggestions for problem solutions or software enhancements, which will typically be reviewed by a more senior developer.
Provide accurate and timely status reports on work progress.
Other duties will include; Production support and subsequent defect research, assistance in technical and/or system documentation may be needed to aid support teams.
This role will receive directions from the team lead/mentor.

Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent required.
1 to 3 years systems management/infrastructure experience.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Experience in formal software development life cycle
Strong organization skills
Ability to meet deadlines, goals and objectives within time line
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Flexible, proactive, quick learner, and possess strong team attitude
Educated or experience writing scripts
Educated or experience/background in system logging, server monitoring applications and best-practices
Ability to write technical documentation, comprehensive testing
3 + YEARS OF PERL AND UNIX SHELL SCRIPTING EXPERIENCE
