T4S Solutions are urgently looking for a DUTCH SPEAKING System Engineer to work in Aalst, Belgium on a 6 month extendable contract.
As a System Engineer Servers & Data Center, you are responsible for the design and maintenance of the data center and server infrastructure.
YOUR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES ARE:
- Server management (blade centers and rackmountable Servers), server virtualization (VMware vSphere) and application virtualization (Citrix XenApp).
- Define projects that you realize independently with colleagues or with suppliers.
- Determining the concepts and standards of the environment in accordance with the company's vision and strategy.
- Operate as the last internal link in the support department of the ICT department.
- Building a performance and stable ICT environment.
PROFILE:
You have a Bachelor's degree in an ICT direction and you have at least five years relevant experience. You are familiar with managing and supporting projects. You have knowledge of the assigned technology domain: Virtualization (VMware), Backup (Veeam Backup & Replication), Application Virtualization (Citrix XenApp), Wintel Server and Data Center Infrastructure. In addition, you have a healthy interest in Microsoft Hyper-V, Scripting, Automation and Security concepts. Finally, you have ITIL notions and experience with ticketing tools.
