System Engineer

For a major international client in Canton of Vaud, we are looking for a:

SYSTEM ENGINEER

TO SUPPORT THE ONSHORE AND NEARSHORE DEVELOPMENT AND PROD TEAMS BY INTEGRATING COLLABORATIVE TOOLS IN VARIOUS TECHNOLOGICAL CONTEXT (JAVA, ANDROID, IOS, PLSQL, C, ETC.)

RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

- Maintain and improve our continuous integration chain
- Configuration management automation
- Environment provisioning automation
- Investigate, analyze and document reported configuration defects
- Help configuration team to industrialize and automate
- Increase velocity of development teams
- Increase internal software quality

CANDIDATES MUST BE ABLE TO DEMONSTRATE:

- GOOD KNOWLEDGE IN LINUX ADMINISTRATION (RED HAT OR EQUIVALENT)
- SECURITY AND BASH KNOWLEDGE
- 5 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN A DEVELOPMENT TEAM JEE/TOMCAT
- STASH/JENKINS/NEXUS/SONARQUBE AND VAGRANT KNOWLEDGE
- Strong Experience in using git in a distributed manner
- Working experience with Puppet or another configuration management tool
- Create and maintain technical documentation
- Write good quality code
- Hybrid and Magento would be a plus
- FRENCH AND ENGLISH, both oral and written

This is a contract position with an international client until the end of September 2016 in the first instance.

THE CLIENT IS LOCATED ON LAKE GENEVA, IN CANTON OF VAUD.

Info-Tech will provide advice and support through your relocation if you are working in Switzerland for the first time.
