System Engineer

My client is seeking a system engineer to join their growing team. The potential candidate will be working within the Aerospace systems industry. You will have experience taking requirements from customers and decomposing each of them into requirement specifications for the other engineers within your team. This is a full life cycle project, from design to sign off stage.

Roles and Responsibilities

*View the system and make sure they comply with DO160 & Mil Std 810
*Descent system engineer, and validate that they are to Military and Defence Standards
*Take requirements from customers decomposing into requirement specifications
*Ability to understand what the customer is looking to complete, and then writing up the appropriate requirements
*You will also have the knowledge of certifications (DO160 & Mil Std 810) before any specifications can be released, in order to ensure that they are safe.

Skills set and requirements

*Strong Aerospace Systems development background with good knowledge on Sensors
*Good knowledge of system verification and validation techniques with knowledge on DO160 & Mil Std 810
*Experience in understanding specification from customers and translating into design requirements, testing procedures & compliance requirements
*Experience in writing test procedures, documenting test outcome & preparing relevant documentation for certification agencies
*Experience of using Configuration Control and Requirements Management databases (Doors/Cradle/
etc )
