Location; Warton, Preston
Working for an established organisation, the ideal candidate will act as an experience Electrical Power Systems Engineer for a defence project. Responsibility will include; the production of system and equipment specifications, qualification and certification plans and test procedures. Reviewing equipment supplier documentation, including identifying issues and making recommendations. Producing design requirements documentation and schematics to specify installation requirements. Reviewing installation drawings (mechanicalHazard Analysis & Fault tree as well as, participating and presenting design reviews including supporting in producing plans, programmes and statements of work. Previous experience in Electrical Power Systems within the Aerospace Industry with experience of several phases of the Product Lifecycle and design reviews is required. In addition, a degree or equivalent with knowledge of relevant aerospace engineering standards (including safety & environmental regulations), experience using software tools such as Matlab/Simulink and Fault tree analysis is also desired.
Due to the nature of business, successful applications will be required to undergo UK Security Clearance.
