System Engineer

The contract is with a large consultancy to be on an assignment to a large customer in Brussels as follows:- Profile needed: System engineer

- Technical skills: The mail, mail archive- fax - SMS environment; Active directories; file and print environment; VMware environment; antivirus - antispam environment.
- Manage (day to day) = second-level support, pick up cases helpdesk can't solve.
- Understanding + proven experience of following domains- products is a MUST
- W2K3 - W2K8R2; Exchange 2K10; Active Directory; Linux; Networking TCP/IP, DNS;
- VM Ware (ESX 5.0); File and print services
- Understanding and experience of following domains- products is a PLUS; Symantec Vault (Vault 9.0); Faxination (fax - SMS); Mail marshal (mail relaying Trend micro Deep security (antivirus) + Sophos; Safenet Authentication Manager (e-token); Security principles; Microsoft Operation Manager 2007; Scripting AD/exchange objects (VBS)/powershell

Other Important Skills

Must be a team player; Must have planning and organizational skills (working with strict deadlines - must be able to cope with stress).; Must be able to troubleshoot technical problems.; Must be able to communicate (oral + written) in French, Dutch and English. Mother tongue MUST be or Dutch or French. Speaking - understanding German is a plus; Must be able to work independently; Customer minded.; Able to learn new products-environments quickly.; Able to write processes - documentation.; Must have a Driver license + car + mobile phone; Must be accountable and is NOT a 9 to 5 worker.
