SYSTEM ARCHITECT (CONFIGURATION, FEATURES, IBM MAXIMO EAM, GLOBAL ASSET MANAGEMENT, M2M)
My client is a leading IT consultancy organization with a vision to connect devices and data to make information accessible and actionable for decision makers and the public across Cloud based solutions and "The Internet of Things".
The Position will report to the Program Director - Process and Tools.
- Responsible for the architecture of the Maximo EAM solution for the global Asset Management and Support Process.
- Definition and specification of backlog items to describe features at the business level.
- Technical specification of backlog items to allow developers to create and configure features.
- Coordination with the Program Director, IT/IS team to specify testing and management of features into feature releases.
- Ability to sensitively manage the issues within the complex organization, working in a wide variety of cultures.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Define Features, Specify Configurations and technical documentation
- Accurately determine the effort for implementation.
- Manage the technical aspects of the program backlog and sprint process
- Verify the system performance in conjunction with business owners and the program management.
- Document the system for support purpose.
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
- 5 years team Maximo Architecture Experience
- IBM Maximo Certification
- Agile Project methodology experience
- ITIL Certification or Quality Certification (Six Sigma, QAI)
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
REQUIRED
- 10 years Maximo Experience
- 5+ Years working in project teams in an architecture role
- Process orientation
- Systems Integration Experience
- Excellent English skills both oral and written.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
THE POSITION HOLDER WILL WORK WITH THE GLOBAL PROJECT AND SERVICE TEAMS BASED EITHER FROM HOME OR FROM ZURICH WITH EXTENSIVE TRAVEL IN INITIAL STAGES OF UP TO 75%.
