SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR - THE HAGUE

For one of the Agency of the European Commission based in The Hague, we are currently looking for a System Administrator.

TASKS

Provide support and contribute to the design, management and maintenance of infrastructure and services.

Installing, upgrading, maintaining and decommissioning hardware and software

Troubleshoot technical problems

Contribute to the regular maintenance, test new versions, releases and patches for hardware and software and provide recommendation on their implementation

Implement and management of telecommunication services (VoIP, teleconferencing, mobile communication systems)

SKILLS

Excellent working experience of Microsoft Windows Server 2003/2008, Windows systems management, and monitoring.

Excellent working experience of Scripting and packaging, using PowerShell Scripting (creation and maintenance).

Experience with software related to server management (backups, quotas)

Experience with VMware is an asset.

Working knowledge, written and spoken, of English required.
