System Administrator - Unix (5351)

For a project at our client's site, an international bank based in Zurich, we are looking for an experienced

SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR - UNIX (5351)

In this role, you'll be working in the Zurich office as a part of Windows and UNIX Support Team. Your role is to roll out, setup and configure new infrastructure systems and services, to coordinate maintenance activities.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

- EXPERIENCE IN WORKING IN COMPANIES WITH LARGE-SCALE COMPUTING ENVIRONMENT
- STRONG KNOWLEDGE OF A UNIX (SOLARIS), LINUX AND WINDOWS BASED OPERATING SYSTEMS
- DEEP UNDERSTANDING OF TCP/IP NETWORKING WITH GOOD TROUBLESHOOTING SKILLS
- Good knowledge on DELL, Lenovo, HP Server HW and Blade Chassis including ONE VIEW, OME, XCLARITY, ILO, IDRAC, IMM, CMM, OA AND HPE FLEX 10
- Proven Scripting skills in Shell, Python or Perl
- Prior industry experience is an asset
- Ability to work under pressure and with minimal supervision
- WILLING TO WORK OUT OF BUSINESS HOURS IN SOME CASES
- FLUENT IN ENGLISH

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Coordinate maintenance activities
- Installation and configuration/setup process
- Roll out projects and deliver goals in a timely manner
- Implementing automated procedures
- Communicate and collaborate with other internal partners for designing, planning and coordination of implementation
- Work closely with engineering on enhancements and improvements as new scenarios are discovered during the process
