System Administrator / Platform Expert (m/f/d)

MY DUTIES:

-Escalate support assistance, interacting with internal clients, ensuring data security, maintaining physical and virtual server infrastructure, ongoing performance tuning and operating system upgrades
-Work for VC to support work packages (wp2.1, wp 2.2)
-Support of VMware infrastructure in Geneva and Dübendorf running on SVC & CAM & EE and backup infrastructure
-Support of infrastructure managed by TPM
-Support, assistance and interact with internal clients, ensuring data security, maintaining physical and virtual server infrastructure, backup infrastructure and ongoing performance tuning
-Troubleshooting, incident management (recovery, repair), daily monitoring of existing systems

MY QUALIFICATIONS:

-Expertise with virtualized infrastructure running under VMware
-Expertise with backup infrastructure running under Veeam
-Datacenter experience, with both virtual and bare metal hosts
-Extensive experience with infrastructure management and monitoring
-Experience with Jira, Confluence
-Excellent oral and written communication in English
-Understand existing technical environment, systems, processes and tools
