System Administrator Netapp/Vmware/Backup (ENG)

For a part of the European institutions, Fujitsu is actively looking for a senior local system administrator Storage Netapp; Vmware; Backup consultant

Tasks

- Follow up of incidents with other services at the European Commission located in Brussels
- Propose alternatives and workarounds for problems and incidents
- Integration and test of new software versions, service packs, configuration changes
- Drafting of procedures, installation notices and scripts for the integration, installation and upgrade of new products or new versions of products
- Development of scripts to improve central management and control facilities (central alerting, central logging, central security polices implementation...)
- Participation in training seminars for IT officers
- On-site installation/migration/repair missions
- On-call third level support 

Experience/Profile

Excellent knowledge of:

- VMWARE VIRTUALISATION:

Configure and manage ESXi networking and storage

Implement VMware vSphere High Availability and VMware vSphere® Fault Tolerance

Use vSphere distributed Switches to scale networking

Use profile-driven storage and Storage DRS to scale storage

Deploy ESXi, vCenter Server, and vCenter Server Appliance

- STORAGE NETAPP

CIFS/NFS administration on Data ONTAP 8

DesignTCP/IP; iSCSI/FCoE; SNMP)
- Knowledge of Network Devices (Fabric Switches; Brocade; Cisco Nexus)
