System Administrator I Job

SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR I needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Schenectady, NY.

POSSESSION OF A DOE Q CLEARANCE IS REQUIRED AS A CONDITION FOR EMPLOYMENT.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Deliver Professional and Technical Excellence by demonstrating technical competence, good problem solving, and quality of work in installing, configuring, and administering software, Servers, and operating systems.
- Champion Safety and Security by following policies, processes, and procedures. As a systems engineer, you will be expected to maintain awareness of security implications and to identify potential safety and security improvements to your systems.
- Be Accountable by taking ownership, following guidelines, and showing self-confidence and leadership for your area of cognizance
- Have an understanding of Windows 7 and Server 2008 or newer operating System.
- Have an understanding of Active Directory and Group Policy Management.
- Be able to install, configure, maintain, and administer technologies in an Enterprise Windows Microsoft environment.
- Have an understanding of computer network concepts.
- Be comfortable with Scripting and automation.
- Be comfortable with learning new technologies and software.
- Experience in hardening systems through implementation of Cyber Security principles, policies and requirements
- Experience in the administration, implementation and maintenance of virtualization technologies
- Experience with enterprise class hardware.
- Strong oral and written communications skills.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- BS degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Programming, Information Science, Management Information Systems or related field from an accredited college or university and a minimum of two years of relevant experience
