SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR - THE HAGUE

For one of the European Institutions based in The Hague, we are looking for a System Administrator.

1.  DESCRIPTION OF TASKS

- Implementation and fine-tuning of the monitoring infrastructure.
- Set up of monitoring for listed technical services.
- Producing documentation and knowledge transfer.
- Set up, implementation and fine-tuning of the v-Cloud infrastructure.
- Automating the deployment of virtual infrastructure (blueprints, Scripting, etc.)

2.  EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE IN THE FOLLOWING AREAS:

- Windows System Administrator experience.
- Extensive experience in SCOM 201 deployment in production environments.
- Proven experience in configuring monitoring for complex services.
- Proven experience in VMware v-Cloud App Director 6

ADVANTAGEOUS

- Microsoft SQL server and IIS experience.
- Experience deploying and troubleshooting 4-tier web applications.
- Knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint 2010 and Exchange 2010.
- Experience creating automation scripts, especially for deployment tasks.

SKILLS

- Good oral and written communication particularly in documentation
- Thorough knowledge of English spoken and written
- Follow up and proactive problem-solving skills
