System Administrator 2nd level Support - Junior wanted for our Zurich based client in the banking sector.

YOUR EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

- Strong practical know-how in coding Unix Shell/AWK-programming to manipulate data on databases like DB2 along with essential know-how in meta data and reference data
- Working experience in data warehouse concepts and architecture as well as in data analysis and in maintaining database application in an analytics environment
- Strong understanding in analytical processing, data movements and extract processing as well as knowledge with database technologies such as SQL, ETL, data transformation, etc.
- University Degree or Federal Specialist Certificate and Federal Diploma in a relevant area
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken

YOUR TASKS:

- Providing general administrative, technical and/or professional support as well as being responsible for 2nd level support
- Maintaining database application in an analytics environment along with efficient troubleshooting in collaboration with technicians and business analyst of different teams
- Manipulating data on databases like DB2 by coding Unix Shell/AWK along with maintaining and documenting different data warehouse applications
- Analysing and understanding existing database applications and their use with the UBS business processes
